Cycling Industry Takes Collective Action on Global Supply Chain Responsibility
As a global industry, cycling depends on complex networks of suppliers, manufacturers, and partners spanning continents and cultures. The Cycling Industry Supply Chain Code of Conduct is the result of a joint initiative uniting cycling brands and industry organizations around a common standard for responsible global supply chains.
Co-developed through a collaborative approach, the Code establishes common principles – from human rights and safe working conditions to environmental responsibility.
Companies across the cycling industry are encouraged to adopt the Code, enabling coordinated industry action, helping companies and suppliers focus less on navigating differing requirements and more on driving meaningful social and environmental progress across the cycling industry.
The Code of Conduct is available for free download in English. Translations into other languages are being created and will be added to this page throughout 2026.

Why adopt the Cycling Industry Supply Chain Code of Conduct?
“The Cycling Industry Supply Chain Code of Conduct needs all of us. It establishes binding, uniform social and environmental standards for the industry. The more companies that take part, the stronger these shared rules become. That’s how we step up together and take clear responsibility.” Sandra Wolf - CEO at Riese & Müller
“This industry-wide Code of Conduct is a milestone for the cycling industry. It shows our shared vision and empowers all companies in the cycling industry to contribute to this vision.” Patrizia Strupp - Head of Sustainability, Paul Lange & Co
“Cycling is part of the solution for a more sustainable future, and that must also be reflected in how we build our industry. We are proud to support a shared Supply Chain Code of Conduct that drives transparency, responsibility, and lasting positive impact across the cycling sector.” Jonas Nilson - CEO at Accell
“Canyon has always been about the ride, and that ride starts long before a bike hits the road. This Code is our way of joining forces within the bicycle industry, moving toward unified standards, and taking greater responsibility towards people and communities throughout the supply chain." Karim Bohn - CFO and Human Rights Officer Canyon Bicycles GmbH
