WHAT TO EXPECT?

You can expect a friendly and collaborative atmosphere where everyone's voice is valued, regardless of their level of expertise or background.

The format of a Barcamp is participant-driven, so the agenda isn't fixed beforehand. Instead, all participants prepare a topic they will share in a short and interactive 20-min session. This could be a project you are working on, a challenge you face, or an idea that you would like to test with other thinkers.

The informal but facilitated set-up of the event makes it the perfect platform for sharing and learning in a collaborative and spontaneous way.

It's a great opportunity to engage in open conversations, connect with like-minded individuals, and learn from the diverse expertise within the Shift community.

What previous Shift Barcamp participants say:

"I think it's a very innovative and interactive format for sharing knowledge and experiences, coming from a variety of businesses belonging to the bike industry. I came back with many fresh insights, innovative ideas and, most of all, the chance to create potential synergies with other representatives of the bike industry to collaborate with."

ABOUT THE EVENT

This 1.5 day, in-person workshop will be organised and facilitated by Shift Cycling Culture and builds on the success of the Shift Barcamps held over the past three years.

These events led to great outcomes, such as the creation of the Shift Campfire Forum and a collaboration between eight cycling brands to develop and launch an open-source Climate Action Training Course for the cycling industry to tackle global supply chain emissions.

To ensure a high level of interaction and participation in conversations, this event is limited to a number of around 50 participants.

And each organisation can bring a maximum of two employees to the event.

What previous Shift Barcamp participants say:

"I liked the concept of "Bring your own Topic", because one did get a great idea of where the others are standing and what topics they are working on. Great to share lessons learned and activities."

CSR Manager, Schindelhauer Bikes
